  Big Air Contest
  November 2010
  London
If you were anywhere in or around South London at any stage this weekend, you’d have been hard-pushed not to notice there was something big going on. Something seriously big. It was the 32m high 110m long real snow jump and possibly the biggest snowboard event ever seen in the UK – the third edition of the Relentless Freeze Festival in London. Attracting some of the biggest names in snowboarding. The standard was ridiculously good! Nothing under a 1080 was going to get you anywhere. In the final we saw the best of the best battle it out but in the end our rider Seppe Smits with a back 1260 finished at the third pace during one of the most progressive and closest finals we’ve ever seen!!

Semi finals for Steven Pierson in Teahupoo trials
Von Zipper / Air Tahiti Nui Teahupoo Trials
  August 2010
  Teahupoo, Tahiti
Little deception for our rider Steven as he has been stopped one step away from qualifying to the main event in Teahupoo. In his 100% Tahitian heat (just as the other semifinal, the locals were on fire today), he got defeated by the young freak from Huahine Tamaroa Mc Comb (12.10/9.07). However he can be proud of himself after having eliminated famous surfers such as Anthony Walsh in quarter finals. Taumata Puhetini won the event after an epic final (18.17/17.27), and regarding to the scores he reached in his 5 heats (15.50/17.33/16.67/16.67/18.17) he will be a big threat for the top 44 guys. Main event starts Monday August 23th and solid conditions are expected on the heaviest wave on the planet.

  O'Neill Surf de nuit
  August 2010
  Anglet, France
Teiki Balian and Jordan Oueslati have been taking part to the qualification of the "O’Neill surf de nuit" event. Jordan Oueslati, accustomed to smaller waves like in his home island of Guadalupe, seduced the judges with his tricks and won his ticket to the main event. Thumbs up Jordan!! Teiki, used to the powerful waves of Indonesia, suffered from the small conditions and ended up at the 4th position. He will soon be back to the Mentawais to the Indonesian surf season after an almost all-flat time in France. No doubt he is happy about it....
 Selamat datang MJ !!

  Contest
  July 2010
  Holland
Enforced to rest since his bad crash in April, Remi jumped back on his bike in July and after just a few days of practice he flew to Holland for a “Master of dirt” show at the Swartecross MX festival. He felt confident enough out there to head to Spain for his first shot at a Xfighters contest. He performed great but the judges criteria are different from what he has been used to so he unfortunately couldn’t make it to the quarters, but – that’s the most important part- had great sensations riding his bike only one week back on the bike! We wish him good luck for the rest of the year to come back even stronger for 2011 and resady to conquer the world title again!!

Then he didn’t leave any chances to his opponents (Hira Teriinatofa and the Tahutini father and son) winning with a 18.17 !! Congratulation Steven and good luck for the trials in Teahupoo in August !
